Project Manager - Human Resources / Learning & Talent Development
Location: Hybrid - Vienna, VA or Pensacola, FL
Schedule: 3 days onsite per week
Compensation:
  • Up to $45/hour - Vienna, VA
  • Up to $40/hour - Pensacola, FL
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support strategic Learning & Talent Development (L&TD) systems and technical initiatives. This role will lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple workstreams, partnering with business stakeholders, systems teams, and cross-functional partners to drive successful implementation and operational alignment.
The ideal candidate brings strong project management discipline, experience managing technical or systems-related initiatives, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise environments using Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies. Experience supporting HR, Learning & Development, or Talent systems initiatives is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full project lifecycle delivery, including intake, requirements gathering, scoping, planning, execution, and implementation
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage technical dependencies, integrations, timelines, and solution alignment
  • Develop and maintain structured project plans, milestones, risks, and issue logs
  • Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder communications across business and technical teams
  • Proactively identify risks, manage change control processes, and escalate issues when necessary
  • Provide accurate project status reporting and portfolio updates to leadership and governance teams
  • Support project intake prioritization and alignment with enterprise PMO frameworks and delivery standards
  • Ensure projects are executed effectively within Agile or hybrid project delivery environments
Required Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of project management experience
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional technical or systems-related projects
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience with Agile, hybrid, or enterprise project delivery methodologies
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience supporting HR, Human Capital, Learning & Development, or Talent Management initiatives
  • Exposure to HRIS, LMS, or enterprise HR technology platforms is a plus.
