Job description

Job Summary

The In-Store Lead Generator represents Select Source Water inside Home Depot stores by engaging customers, building relationships with store associates, and generating qualified leads for residential water filtration and water softening solutions. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service while creating a positive in-store experience for both customers and Home Depot employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage customers in a friendly, professional, and non-salesy manner.
  • Educate homeowners about water filtration and water softening solutions.
  • Ask qualifying questions to identify customer needs.
  • Generate and submit accurate, high-quality customer leads.
  • Build positive relationships with Home Depot managers, department associates, and appliance specialists.
  • Assist customers by answering questions, locating products, and directing them to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent Select Source Water with integrity.
  • Meet daily lead generation goals while prioritizing customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently in a retail environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, lead generation, or sales is preferred but not required.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM or 4:00 PM–7:30 PM
  • Saturday–Sunday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
  • Schedule may vary based on business needs.

Successful In-Store Lead Generators consistently:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Build strong relationships with Home Depot staff.
  • Generate qualified, accurate leads.
