Job Description
As a Security GSOC Operator in Portage, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Complete accurate reports, patrol documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as a GSOC or Console Operator preferred
  • Aplicants should be profficient using a computer
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
