Job Summary:
Sandbar is an interface company in New York City, and they are seeking a Lead Product Designer for their new conversational interface, Stream. This role involves overseeing the end-user experience design and collaborating closely with engineers and product teams to create innovative software features.
Responsibilities:
• Own end-to-end product design spanning visual, AI, and interaction design
• Ideate, prototype, and evaluate novel software features
• Work closely with engineers and product to scope and implement new experiences
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience developing design systems spanning multiple platforms
• Experience shipping iOS-based apps is required
• Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for large language models
• Portfolio of prior work is required
Preferred:
• Experience with novel form factors, inputs, audio, or vision are a plus
• Experience in non-software design disciplines such as architecture or industrial design is a plus
