Overview

Reports to: Adult Day Services Director – Kelley Bauman, LSW

Schedule: Monday – Thursday: Part-time (between 8a-5p)

Tasks:

  • Responsible in helping to create and implement planned, fulfilling activities for our participants.
  • Provides individual care to and supervision of the participants.
  • Responsible for safely transporting participants to and from the program, escorting adult day services participants to and from vehicles, providing support and supervision of participants.

Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate should have experience in providing personal care, activities and/or social/recreational programs.
  • Must possess the ability to understand written and oral instructions.
  • Must be a high school graduate or have successfully completed a GED.
  • Must pass Criminal Background Check with no disqualifying offenses.
  • Must possess a valid Ohio Driver's License with at least 2 years driving experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain driving privileges per The Salvation Army standards.
  • Must be able to obtain a signed statement from a licensed physician stating the driver has no medical or physical condition that may impede safe driving, passenger assistance, emergency treatment, or the health and welfare of the participant or general public.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screenings.
