    Job description

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Salata Salad Kitchen is an exciting concept where our menu is fully customizable, so you can Salad Like You Feel! We currently have two Charlotte area locations open (Uptown and Rea Farms) and are actively working on several more! We are seeking a dynamic and confident Catering Sales Manager who can prepare and execute daily catering orders, build off-premise sales and work with the stores to coordinate excellent quality and service


    Catering Manager Responsibilities

    • Source new clients and generate new business
    • Ensure production and execution of catering orders each day
    • Visit future guests including office centers, hotels, and other meeting planners to present our products and gain interest
    • Establish strong relationships in the trade area to ensure repeat orders and referrals
    • Negotiate proposals/ draft invoices
    • Help select and train Catering leads and work with third party Delivery Partners
    • Effectively communicate with the General Manager to ensure supplies are on-hand, orders are prepared and executed at the highest standard, and deliveries are on time
    • Track and analyze sales, customer base, and potential new revenue sources


    Catering Manager Requirements


    • Generally, Monday through Friday with exception of special events and local community meetings
    • Daily, weekly communication with Director and General Manager to create and implement strategies for sales building
    • Recruit, hire and train Catering Leads as business dictates
    • Evaluate catering team and share feedback and opportunity for improvement with owners
    • Excellent communication skills with both customers and the Leadership team
