Founded in 1999 by Travis Mack, Saalex Solutions is a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned and Operated business with prime and subcontract expertise serving the Navy, Army, Air Force, NASA, corporate clients, and local governments. Position Type:ย Contingent on Contract Award.
Salary:ย $70k-$95k (depending on experience)
Theย Logistician Iย supports the Navy by providingย logisticsย and sustainment support for IT, network, and engineering systems across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role focuses on supply chain coordination, asset tracking, and lifecycle sustainment to ensure mission readiness.ย
Essential Functions:
- Assistย inย logisticsย andย sustainmentย activities including inventory tracking and asset management.ย
- Support receipt, storage, and distribution of IT equipment and materials.ย
- Maintainย inventory records and updateย logisticsย databases or tracking systems.ย
- Assistย with coordination of shipments and equipment transfers.ย
- Support documentation ofย logisticsย activities including inventory logs and shipping records.ย
- Collaborate withย logisticsย and technical teams to ensure asset accountability.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
Required:
- 1-3 years of experience inย logistics, supply chain management, or related field.ย
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).ย
- Familiarity with inventory management, asset tracking, or supply chain processes.ย
- Experience withย logisticsย tools or systems (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, asset tracking systems).ย
Desired:
- Experience supporting DoD or Navy logistics operations.
- Familiarity with IT asset management or lifecycle sustainment processes.
- Experience supporting audits, reporting, or compliance tracking.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
