    Your Next Opportunity:

    The Site Commissioning (CX) Lead oversees all on‑site commissioning activities for utility‑scale solar PV, BESS, and high‑voltage substation projects. You serve as the primary commissioning liaison for EPC‑delivered Bulk Electrical Systems (BES), ensuring equipment is installed, tested, energized, and verified per project specifications, industry standards, and grid‑interconnection requirements.

    What You'll Do:
    • Develop and implement site‑specific commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures.

    • Verify installation quality and readiness for commissioning.

    • Lead cold and hot commissioning, system functional testing, energization, and performance verification for PV, BESS, SCADA, and high‑voltage equipment.

    • Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and commissioning standards.

    • Troubleshoot complex electrical, controls, and protection‑system issues.

    • Maintain records including test results, punch lists, NCRs, and daily/weekly reports.

    • Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to resolve deficiencies.

    • Validate system performance against contract, design, and interconnection criteria.

    • Serve as on‑site liaison with utilities, inspectors, and project stakeholders.

    • Represent Rosendin professionally and support meetings, walkdowns, and turnover milestones.

    What You'll Need to Be Successful:
    • Ability to interpret single‑line diagrams, protection/control schematics, and SCADA/controls documentation.

    • Strong organizational and planning skills with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.

    • Expertise in troubleshooting electrical, inverter, control, and high‑voltage systems.

    • Strong written and verbal communication, including clear technical documentation.

    • Commitment to safety, adaptability to fast‑changing site conditions, and high attention to detail.

    • Ability to collaborate across engineering, construction, OEMs, and utility stakeholders.

    What You Bring to Us:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent HV field experience.

    • 7-10+ years of commissioning experience with HV substations, PV, and BESS.

    • Deep technical knowledge of inverter systems, BESS platforms, protection schemes, and NETA standards.

    • Experience with Transmission Operator interconnection processes.

    • Proficiency with SCADA, PLCs, Microsoft Office 365, Bluebeam, and commissioning tools.

    • Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, IEC, NETA, NERC, FERC, and utility interconnection standards.

    • OSHA‑30 construction safety certification.

    Travel:

    Up to 75% travel with extended stays at project sites nationwide. Work hours may vary significantly to support commissioning, energization windows, and utility outage schedules.

    Working Conditions:

    Work is performed primarily in field environments at utility‑scale renewable energy sites and high‑voltage substations. Exposure includes outdoor weather, noise, energized electrical systems, and construction equipment. Must comply with all PPE requirements, LOTO procedures, and site safety standards. Physical demands include standing, climbing, lifting (10-40 lbs), and working at heights or in constrained spaces.
