Job Description
As an Inside Sales Representative you will interact with customers over the phone or in person, providing them with information, advising them, and generating orders. You will provide friendly and efficient service to guarantee customer satisfaction, ensuring they receive the correct products and quantities to keep members of our community comfortable in their homes and workplaces. Typical duties for the Inside Sales Representative include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
  • Greet and help walk-in and will call customers as they arrive at the counter
  • Promptly answer incoming telephone calls, emails, and text messages
  • Prepare and send quotes to customers as requested with efficiency and accuracy
  • Place special product orders on an as needed basis
  • Provide accurate information regarding availability and lead times
  • Process incoming and outgoing warranty claims
  • Assist warehouse staff with pulling orders, checking in incoming product, and loading and unloading trucks based on seasonal increases in business
  • Pre-pull or stage will call orders as needed
  • Participate in active training for new and current products regularly
  • Process UPS orders, track orders and accept deliveries
  • Assist outside sales team in processing customer requests
  • Assist in cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Maintain general appearance of branch counter, showroom, warehouse, and grounds
  • Ensure that each customer leaves the store satisfied

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of HVAC products preferred, but not required
  • Ability to provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service via telephone, email, and in person
  • Proficient in web-based software for parts lookup and order processing
  • Good listener and able to follow directions
  • Good verbal, written, and conflict resolution skills
  • Goal driven, self-motivated, and proactive
  • Conduct business and represent the company in a professional manner
  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs without machinery assistance
