The Kitchen Manager balances daily operational duties with strategic planning to support the restaurant's success. Travel is not required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a large kitchen staff team of 20+ personnel
- Manage inventory to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
- Ensure strict food quality and safety standards are met
- Develop and maintain staff schedules to maximize productivity
- Control budgets and manage food costs effectively
- Train and develop kitchen staff to enhance skills and performance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning to align with quality and cost goals
- Foster positive customer relations to support business reputation
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely deliveries
