Salesforce Developer for a hybrid position (2 days onsite weekly) with a Major Financial Services Firm located in Charlotte, NC.
This is an 18+ month contract opportunity.
This role requires a skilled Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge in Apex, LWC, and experience with Salesforce integrations. This position involves working with asynchronous processing and ensuring high-quality, reliable deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable Apex code, adhering to Governor Limits and best practices
- Develop and customize user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and JavaScript
- Design and implement triggers to efficiently handle data changes while avoiding recursion
- Utilize asynchronous Salesforce methods such as Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Future methods
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
- Write comprehensive test classes and use debugging tools to ensure high test coverage
- Manage version control and streamline deployments using Salesforce DX or other CI/CD solutions
- Diagnose issues, optimize performance, and implement innovative solutions
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge in writing efficient, scalable, and maintainable Apex code
- Strong skills in developing and customizing user interfaces using LWC, with good working knowledge in JavaScript
- Ability to design and implement triggers that efficiently handle data changes and are bulk-safe
- Understanding of asynchronous Salesforce methods (Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Future methods)
- Experience with integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST, SOAP APIs, and middleware solutions
- Ability to write comprehensive test classes for Apex code and ensure high test coverage
- Familiarity with Salesforce deployment tools like Change Sets, Salesforce DX, and CI/CD solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
