Job description

Quietflex Manufacturing, a member of Daikin Industries LTD is a seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Regional Sales Manager position. Quietflex Manufacturing is the leading manufacturer and supplier of flexible ductwork for residential and commercial HVAC systems, as well as fiberglass mats for industrial applications. As a vital component of indoor comfort, Quietflex Manufacturing has a robust production line that includes a wide variety of specialized products designed to provide the best solutions to the needs of its many customers.

The Regional Sales Manager will cover the territories including the following states:
North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Washington DC.
The Regional Sales Manager will identify, contract and develop relationships with new customers that use textile fiberglass and our duct products. The person in this position is also responsible for maintaining relationships with existing fiberglass and duct accounts to determining ways to grow their business with Quietflex Manufacturing.
Position Responsibilities may include;
  • Reporting and conferring with the VP of Sales and Marketing on sales activity and completing internal paperwork
  • Support all the activities of the marketing and sales departments
  • Provide new and current customers with product information including pricing, delivery, inventory and/or backorder availability
  • Help minimize shipping costs through strategic planning and market knowledge
  • Travel to customers to develop our market position
  • Work with operations to help maximize customer satisfaction with our products
  • Market research to develop niche segments for our fiberglass
  • Enhance marketing materials, including website maintenance for fiberglass and the duct segment of our business
  • Contact customers to follow up on orders, service, and delivery
  • Offer additional products for sale
  • Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs

  • Must have great people skills
  • Must be able to travel on short notice
  • Be able to deal with irate customers and maintain great customer relationships
  • Must be a good closer of sales
  • Be able to maintain superior market and spot trends
  • Applies good judgement, strong work ethics and integrity on the job

Experience:
  • 5 years Marketing or outside Sales experience required

Education:
  • 4-year college degree in Business or Marketing preferred
