    Job description

    Que Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated System Engineer to join a small, mission-focused team supporting critical client/server environments. This position focuses on systems engineering, automation, security compliance, and administration of enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining system integrity, performance, and security while working closely with users and customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Engineer, deploy, and maintain secure and reliable client/server environments
    • Administer and support Windows and Linux operating systems
    • Implement and maintain system automation solutions
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with security requirements and policies
    • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure and devices
    • Perform system patching, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening
    • Support Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, and network services
    • Assist with Kubernetes and containerized environments
    • Monitor system performance and availability, proactively resolving issues
    • Communicate technical issues, risks, and escalation requirements to management
    • Collaborate with customers, users, and team members to support mission objectives

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Strong Systems Engineering and System Administration experience
    • Strong knowledge of security compliance requirements and best practices
    • Experience administering Windows and Linux environments
    • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and networking concepts
    • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista network devices
    • Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments
    • Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, and network services
    • Strong knowledge of security protocols, patch management, and system hardening
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate and escalate issues to management

    Desired Skills

    • Experience with systems automation and infrastructure-as-code tools
    • Experience supporting mission-critical or secure enterprise environments
    • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms
    • Experience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks
    • Knowledge of customer-specific tools and technologies

    Security Clearance:

    • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
