The Opportunity

Some of the world's biggest companies already bring Puppy Sphere into their workplaces and events. Much of that business has come to us organically. Now we want to see what happens when we actually build the sales engine behind it.

We're looking for a leader of Corporate Sales & Partnerships to turn an already-proven B2B offering into one of Puppy Sphere's largest revenue channels. You'll own the growth of our corporate events business while developing larger enterprise accounts, multi-market programs, sponsorships and strategic partnerships across North America. 

This is a player-coach role. You'll lead and develop our Sales team, build the strategy and systems behind the function, but you'll also stay close to the revenue: prospecting, developing relationships, negotiating and personally helping close some of our biggest opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Grow Corporate Revenue

• Own Puppy Sphere's corporate sales strategy and revenue target across North America.
• Work with our partner agency to improve our proactive outbound engine alongside our existing inbound demand, using AI and sales technology to improve prospecting, account research and personalized outreach at scale.
• Identify and pursue high-value companies, agencies, conferences, workplace wellness programs and other B2B opportunities.
• Personally support and close high-value and strategic opportunities.
• Develop new products, packages and revenue opportunities that increase deal size, create recurring revenue and reduce seasonality.
• Translate Puppy Sphere’s corporate revenue target into clear sales priorities, plans, targets and measurable KPIs.

Grow Enterprise Accounts

• Develop a land-and-expand strategy for major corporate accounts.
• Turn one-time bookings into recurring, annual and multi-market relationships.
• Expand clients across offices, cities, employee programs, conferences and major moments throughout the year.
• Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers across HR, People & Culture, Employee Experience, Marketing and Events.
• Develop agency relationships and other channels that can introduce Puppy Sphere into multiple brands and accounts.

Partnerships & Sponsorships

• Build and execute Puppy Sphere's sponsorship and strategic partnership strategy.
• Identify brands and partners with strong alignment to our audience, studios, events and mission.
• Create compelling commercial opportunities that go beyond traditional sponsorship.
• Negotiate and close meaningful partnerships while prioritizing longer-term relationships over one-off activations.
• Work alongside the marketing department to bring sponsorships and partnerships to life. 

Lead & Scale the Sales Function

• Lead, coach and develop the Sales team while remaining highly involved in selling.
• Help evolve the Sales team structure, capabilities and resources as Puppy Sphere scales across North America.
• Set clear targets across revenue, pipeline generation, outbound activity, conversion and account growth.
• Own forecasting, CRM discipline and visibility into pipeline performance.
• Build clear processes for qualifying, pricing, scoping and handing over corporate and private events.
• Help develop a scalable online booking experience for private events, making it easier for customers to understand options, receive pricing and book with less manual involvement.
• Partner with Marketing, Operations and Finance to improve pricing, conversion, sales collateral, margins and the overall customer journey.
• Build clear cross-functional processes for qualifying, scoping and handing over corporate events, partnerships and private events, creating clear ownership and accountability across teams.
• Partner with the Expansion team and leadership to turn corporate sales, client and market insights into actionable growth opportunities, helping inform decisions around new markets, studio locations and corporate-focused expansion.
• Build and maintain visibility into corporate demand by market, industry, customer profile, geography and opportunity type, using these insights to identify emerging trends and inform growth strategy.
• Use sales and booking data to identify new markets, customer segments and growth opportunities.

Help Shape Where Puppy Sphere Goes Next

Our B2B business gives us a unique view into where companies and customers want Puppy Sphere. You'll work with leadership and Expansion to turn that information into actionable insights. That could mean identifying a market with unusually strong corporate demand, recognizing an emerging customer segment, spotting an opportunity for a national partnership, or helping us understand where our next studios can unlock additional B2B revenue.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive B2B sales, business development or partnerships experience.
• Experience carrying and delivering against meaningful revenue targets.
• A proven track record of personally sourcing and closing business, not only managing a sales team.
• Strong outbound business development experience and the ability to build pipeline from scratch.
• Experience selling corporate events, experiences, partnerships, sponsorships, services or other solution-based offerings.
• Experience developing and expanding enterprise accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close high-value, complex commercial opportunities.
• Experience managing, coaching and developing sales talent.
• Strong commercial instincts and a deep understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, KPIs and CRM systems.
• Confidence engaging senior decision-makers and developing long-term relationships.
• Comfortable moving between strategy and execution. You can build the plan on Monday and make the sales call on Tuesday.
• Highly proactive. You see opportunities and go after them.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup where there is significant opportunity to build, test and improve.

Compensation

• Target Total Compensation: $120K-$150K CAD, with significant upside for exceeding revenue targets
• Base Salary: $80K-$100K CAD + uncapped performance-based commission
