This is a Project Manager role for a Pulice and FlatironDragados Subsidiary, Roadway Electric: https://roadwayelectric.com/
How You Will Make an Impact- Oversees all aspects of the project, including construction, budget, and cash management, ensuring compliance with the project contract and owner needs.Â
- Develops and manages the project schedule, pay estimates, procedures, staffing, and equipment resources for timely and accurate project production.Â
- Assesses initial project contracts and documents for completeness, resolving specification, contract conflicts, and scheduling issues with the owner.Â
- Coordinates with project personnel to update the construction schedule and adjust for change orders, working with the Area Manager on cost or schedule changes.Â
- Creates and presents monthly cost and revenue forecasts and reports to Flatiron leadership.Â
- Builds strong internal and external relationships with Flatiron departments and the project owner to support the work plan and payment schedule.Â
- Reviews and approves all media news releases related to the project.Â
- Acts as the main contact for third-party stakeholders, including landowners, local business owners, and government agencies.Â
- Conducts daily and weekly safety checks at the project site to ensure compliance with safety programs, facilitating safety reviews and procedures.Â
- Coordinates with the project superintendent to identify staffing and equipment needs for efficient project production.Â
- Collaborates with internal legal counsel to resolve project disputes.Â
- Leads project closeout procedures, finalizing contract paperwork, obtaining retainages, and resolving any project claims. Conducts project debriefs to review all aspects of the work and completion.Â
- 5+ years' experience in construction, engineering or scheduling required. Â
- Experience in managing personnel required. Â
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field highly regarded. Â
- Must hold a valid Driver's License.Â
- Strong interpersonal skills developed to engage and retain positive working relationships while effectively delegate task driven responsibilities to project personnel.Â
- Proven ability to identify, track and manage project risk. Â
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including advanced skill working in Excel. Â
