To thrive as a Project Manager, you need strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, generally supported by a bachelor's degree and relevant project management experience. Familiarity with project management software like Microsoft Project, Asana, or Jira, and certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2, are commonly required.
