    40 Hours per Week


    ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist (SPED) for a full-time opportunity supporting a unique educational model designed to transform student outcomes. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working with a population that benefits greatly from individualized support and guidance.


    About the Program

    This position supports a network of public charter schools focused on dropout recovery and prevention. These schools serve “opportunity youth” ages 15–21, providing:

    • A flexible, self-paced academic model
    • Opportunities to earn a high school diploma
    • Hands-on career and technical education
    • Pathways to sustainable, living-wage employment after graduation


    Position Details

    • Schedule: Full-time
    • Hours: 40 hours per week
    • Setting: School-based


    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students with diverse learning needs
    • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
    • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to support success
    • Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families
    • Support students’ social-emotional development and transition planning
    • Foster a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment


    Qualifications

    • Valid Intervention Specialist / Special Education licensure (Ohio)
    • Experience working with at-risk or alternative education populations preferred
    • Strong skills in behavior management, differentiation, and student engagement
    • Ability to work in a flexible, student-centered learning environment
