Django Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Django Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the Django framework. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Python, REST APIs, database design, and modern web development practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python and Django.
  • Develop RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF).
  • Build reusable, scalable, and secure backend services.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
  • Design and optimize database schemas using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and Agile development processes.
  • Deploy applications using Docker, Nginx, Gunicorn, and cloud platforms.
Required Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF).
  • Good understanding of MVC/MVT architecture.
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Git version control.
  • Understanding of RESTful API development.
  • Experience with authentication methods such as JWT or OAuth.
  • Knowledge of Linux environments and shell scripting.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Redis and Celery for background task processing.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Python and Django development.
  • Experience in building enterprise-level web applications is preferred.
