    Job description

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Coordinates all equipment needs for the assigned project.
    • Communicates daily with Site Manager, Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Foremen to ensure equipment is available to perform work.
    • Communicates with Fleet Department on all project equipment needs.
    • Responsible for submitting equipment requests, scheduling returns, and processing work-order repair requests.
    • Follows documented work instructions for checking in and calling off equipment.
    • Tracks weekly equipment utilization hours for the project.
    • Recommends shedding underutilized rental equipment in efforts to control cost.
    • Prioritizes company owned equipment utilization.
    • Inventories project jobsite monthly to ensure project equipment lists are accurate.
    • Ensures operator equipment safety inspections submitted daily.
    • Responsible for the upload of all project equipment documentation.
    • Ensures defined equipment processes are followed and project equipment tracking systems are updated timely and accurately.
    • Familiar with a variety of the jobsite concepts, practices, and work procedures.
    • Responsible for assessing each equipment asset before return or transfer.
    • Ensures equipment is serviced, inspected, and repaired prior to project transfer.
    • Records and reports all operator equipment damage, abuse, and neglect.
    • Tracks and reports weekly equipment down-time for project.
    • Jobsite point of contact for all scheduled vendor service calls, equipment deliveries and pick-ups.
    • Interacts with Fleet Dispatch Coordinator and Fleet Field Operations Manager to fill project equipment needs.
    • Ensures project compliance to all equipment related Fleet and HSE policies and practices.
    • Office 50%, Field 50%.
    • Ability to travel and relocate to jobsites located across the country is required.

     

    Physical Requirements

    • Must comply with client safety requirements (e.g., clean-shaven, long sleeves, steel-toe boots).
    • Must pass a physical exam if required.
    • Able to:
      • Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, and stairways.
      • Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work at heights or in confined spaces (e.g., towers, vessels, excavations).
      • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (Use assistance for heavier loads).
      • Stand or walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel).
    • Must be able to wear a respirator and other PPE when required.

    • Industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shops.
