Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support and enhance our mortgage loan servicing platform and originations systems. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, operations teams, compliance, and technology teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable servicing and loan acquisition processes.
The primary focus of this position will be supporting a loan originations workflow platform that captures mortgage loan applications and supporting documentation, manages review and approval workflows, and facilitates the acquisition and boarding of loans purchased from third-party financial institutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, deep mortgage servicing knowledge, and experience working with workflow-driven systems in highly regulated financial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
Partner with servicing operations, loan acquisition teams, underwriting, compliance, quality control, and IT teams to gather, document, andvalidatebusiness requirements.
Translate complex business processes into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and system requirements.
LoanOriginations& Workflow Support
Analyze workflow routing logic, approval processes, exception handling, and document management capabilities.
Ensure loans areproperly reviewed, approved, and boarded into the servicing platformin accordance withinvestor, regulatory, and internal requirements.
Assistwith integration requirements between originationsystems, servicing platforms, document repositories, and external vendor systems.
Mortgage Servicing System Support
Participate in servicing-related initiatives involving escrow, payment processing, investor reporting, customer communications, loss mitigation,defaultand loan transfers.
Documentation & Process Improvement
Create andmaintainbusiness requirements documents, process maps, workflow diagrams, test plans, and operational procedures.
Testing & Implementation Support
Regulatory & Compliance Support
Support compliance initiatives related to CFPB, RESPA, TILA, FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, and other servicing/investor standards.
QualificationsBachelor of Science - Computer and Information Science, Equivalent relevant experience (5-7 years)
ExperienceRelevant professional experience (2-5 years)
