Overview
Dash is a quick-service restaurant/deli inside Daily's convenience stores. This team member assists the Kitchen Manager in all operations of the restaurant. The role requires flexible hours and night/weekend/holiday availability as needed.

Essential Functions
  • Act as Manager on Duty in the manager's absence
  • Oversee food production and customer service
  • Consistently demonstrate adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain cooking equipment and utensils
  • Assist with food preparation and cleaning tasks
  • Cook and prepare customer orders
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training store personnel
  • Occasionally assist with scheduling employees according to labor budget
  • Address and resolve customer concerns
  • Coach and counsel employees in the manager's absence
  • Run and review daily reports as needed
  • Maintain site appearance and sanitation standards
  • Ensure the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation in all areas
  • Assist with submitting and managing maintenance requests
  • Implement and enforce and health and safety requirements
  • Occasionally order product
  • Assist in controlling merchandise inventories
  • Review P amp;L reports to help the site reach expected margins
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, amp; company policies
  • Other duties as required
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
  • 2+ years in customer service
  • Some experience in a restaurant leadership role
  • Familiar with inventory audits and product ordering
Basic Qualifications amp; Physical Requirements
  • 18+ years of age
  • Valid driver license amp; reliable transportation
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
  • Verifiable work history
  • Outgoing and friendly demeanor
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including holidays amp; weekends
  • Communicate effectively in English (hear, speak, read, and write)
  • Safely lift 55 lbs. and carry short distances
  • Stand and walk for 8+ consecutive hours
  • Climb a step ladder, reach with arms above head, grasp with hands, bend, and crouch
  • Use hands bilaterally amp; unilaterally
  • Count and weigh product; calculate basic math
  • Basic computer proficiency including email and Microsoft Office
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced food service environment
  • Pass a pre-employment background check
