Job description

Position Overview: As the VP of Manufacturing - Operations, you will oversee key teams within the manufacturing function, including quality assurance, compliance, engineering, and maintenance. Your role is essential in driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring that manufacturing operations can scale efficiently to meet growing consumer demand. You will be part of the leadership team, managing senior-level direct reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as finance, human resources, supply chain, automation engineering, external suppliers, and OEMs to execute business strategies seamlessly.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Results: Lead multiple manufacturing teams, focusing on quality assurance, compliance, engineering, and maintenance. Manage the execution of quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ownership: Develop and implement continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence programs.

Decision Making: Oversee the automation masterplan, talent development, and training programs.

Building Relationships: Manage skill-building programs and the operate-and-maintain initiatives.

Instilling Trust: Identify and implement best practices for equipment, problem-solving, documentation, and systems.

Customer Focus: Execute equipment upgrades and manage planned obsolescence to ensure uninterrupted delivery to customers.

Ideal Background:

15+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with increasing levels of responsibility.

15+ years of experience managing staff organizations and consistently delivering top-tier results.

Extensive experience with equipment platforms, quality assurance, and asset management/lifecycle programs.

7+ years of experience managing senior managers.

Proven ability to lead multi-site or multi-geographical organizations or programs.

Deep expertise in manufacturing excellence, engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance systems.

Strong business acumen, with the ability to make decisions that deliver broad-reaching benefits.

Demonstrated ability to convert high-level strategies into actionable, measurable plans.

Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to brief executives on complex business situations and drive decisions.

High standards for performance and the ability to navigate complex business challenges.

Positive attitude, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel up to 25%.
