Job description

Location - Greeneville, TN 37745
Shift - Night shift 04:00 PM - 04:30 AM (2-2-3 schedule)
 
Responsibilities:
  • The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for preventative maintenance and repair on equipment used in the production process for bottling water, storage of water, handling of water, and testing of water. 
  • Essential Job Duties: 
  • Conducts maintenance on distillers, i.e., oil changes, blows out air lines, cleans and tightens belts, etc.
  • Maintains safe and clean workshop, follows safety guidelines.
  • Tracks all performed equipment maintenance in logs.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment.
  • Performs all repair tasks necessary to keep bottling lines operating efficiently
  • Performs all bottling line changeovers.
  • Programs all production equipment using PLCs.
  • Troubleshoots all production equipment when programming issues arise.
  • Repair and maintenance of equipment and building. 
  • Ability to work with a team and independently
  • Ability to take proactive steps regarding equipment and downtime .
Qualifications: 
  • High School diploma or equivalent 
  • 2-3 years previous experience is a plus 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are required 
  • Computer experience is required – strong Excel knowledge 
  • Ability to walk/climb to count inventories 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence 
  • Basic math skills required
  • Forklift experience and certification a plus.
