    Job description

    Path Construction seeks a qualified Senior Project Manager to join our organization in the Tampa area. We are a rapidly growing general contractor headquartered in Arlington Heights, IL with projects and offices throughout the country. The right candidate will have 10 years of project management experience in multi-family residential, retail, and substantial other commercial construction. Path is looking for people with great technical skills, good communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.

    Duties for Senior Project Managers include: Leading and managing a project team in building successful projects, cost control for full P+L responsibility, managing day-to-day activities of subcontractors and suppliers, contract administration, procurement, estimating, pay requests, change orders, requests for information, cost control, scheduling, tracking submittals, safety controls, maintaining and delivering a high level of quality.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent experience.
    • 10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
    • Proven ability to lead and manage a project team, including subcontractors and suppliers.
    • Strong working knowledge of contract administration, procurement, and cost control.
    • Experience with Primavera, Microsoft Project, and/or Procore.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
    • Estimating experience is a plus.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
    • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards; OSHA 30-Hour Certification is a plus.
    • Valid driver's license with a positive motor vehicle report.
    • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 lbs
