Job description

Join the Pack at Dan’s Pet Care
As a Floater, you play an integral role in our day-to-day operations, ensuring that every dog gets top-tier care and our facility remains in impeccable condition. From feeding sessions to facility upkeep, your versatility will keep our center running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:

Dog Feeding:
  • Efficiently divide dogs for their meal times, ensuring each one receives the correct portion.
  • Oversee and manage the distribution of food—an activity that takes around 30 minutes each session.
  • Prepare food as needed, tailoring each meal to the specific needs of our canine guests.
Facility Cleaning:
  • Engage in general cleaning duties throughout your shift, maintaining a hygienic environment.
  • Ensure a clean space post-feeding sessions.
  • Take charge of deep cleaning the entire facility when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness in administrative areas.
  • Responsible for kitchen cleanliness after each feeding session.
Intakes and Outtakes:
  • Execute intake runs, warmly welcoming new dogs to our facility.
  • Prepare dogs for outtake, ensuring they're ready to transition either back to their owners or to another location within our facility.
  • Act as an outtake runner, coordinating the smooth exit of our canine guests.
  • Manage early outtakes as needed.
  • Handle the last let-outs before the facility's nighttime operations or closing.
Additional Services:
  • Deliver add-on services for dogs, ensuring they receive all the pampering they're slated for.
  • Handle final add-ons, making sure no service is left unfulfilled by the end of your shift.
Breaks:
  • Cover for Player 1 and Player 2 during their breaks, seamlessly taking over their responsibilities.
  • Manage breaks for Player 3 and ensure you take your own well-deserved rest!
  • Miscellaneous:
  • Set up the facility for various operations, be it feeding, outtake, or any other task on the agenda.
What We're Looking For:
  • Versatility: The ability to switch tasks seamlessly and adapt to various responsibilities.
  • Experience: Prior experience in pet care is a plus, but we value dedication and a love for animals.
  • Team Player: A knack for collaboration and an understanding of the importance of every role in our facility.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively address challenges with a calm and efficient mindset.
Why Join Dan's Pet Care:
  • Dynamic Role: No two days are the same. Relish the variety and growth opportunities.
  • State-of-the-Art Facility: Work in our brand-new facility, equipped with the latest in pet care.
  • Team of Passionates: Join a community that loves and cares for animals deeply.
* Incomplete applications that have not responded to all screening questions will not be considered for review by our team.
