About the Role
We are hiring a Fire Sprinkler Fitter with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Applicants may come from fire protection, plumbing, or general pipefitting backgrounds, provided they have hands-on experience installing, cutting, threading, or assembling piping systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work safely and efficiently on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, modify, and repair fire sprinkler systems according to plans and specifications
• Cut, thread, groove, and install pipe and fittings
• Assist with layout, measurements, and material preparation
• Work safely on ladders, lifts, and active construction sites
• Collaborate with foremen and team members to complete projects on schedule
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
Required Qualifications
• 2+ year of experience in fire sprinkler fitting, pipefitting, or plumbing
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow instructions
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in pipe installation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various site conditions
Preferred (Not Required)
• Experience with NFPA standards
• Previous work on commercial or residential construction sites
• OSHA 10 certification
