ABOUT THE ROLE:

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI - Hyperscale Data Center Delivery organization is searching for a Principal Data Center E2E Project Manager  to drive integrated project planning, project controls, operational analytics, supply chain coordination, manufacturing readiness, logistics visibility, and TPM governance for Oracle Cloud's Abilene AI Data Center and OCI's AI Data Center in Shackelford, Texas.

This role oversees the creation, review, and maintenance of documentation, including design review, commissioning, and problem-solving papers. Directs the implementation and oversight of quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards. 

Conducts strategic site walks and provides executive oversight and strategic leadership for the startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects. Identifies critical gaps in risk identification and mitigation and drives organizational-wide initiatives to address these gaps. 

Leads the role of primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers. Oversees the selection, negotiation, and management of contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring contract compliance and performance and construction activities align with the approved design plans and specifications. Oversees the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.

This position is located in Abilene, Texas or Shackelford County, Texas. We will consider remote flexibility for candidates who live in the DFW area and willing to travel up to 50%

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

 Responsibilities:

  • Drive integrated project schedules, milestone trackers, forecasts, dashboards, and executive reporting for assigned data center delivery scopes. 
  • Track project performance across cost, schedule, risk, safety, supply chain readiness, manufacturing alignment, logistics, and field execution. 
  • Identify critical-path risks, cross-functional dependencies, delivery constraints, procurement gaps, manufacturing bottlenecks, logistics concerns, and recovery needs. 
  • Develop and maintain mitigation plans, recovery forecasts, risk registers, milestone trackers, issue and action logs, and decision records. 
  • Coordinate long-lead procurement status, supplier readiness, manufacturing alignment, logistics plans, and material flow with project execution needs. 
  • Support prefab, modular delivery, OSA adoption, and industrialized delivery scaling by aligning manufacturing and field requirements. 
  • Partner with project teams, suppliers, logistics providers, manufacturing partners, and leadership to improve execution alignment and schedule predictability. 
  • Validate project reporting through field engagement, site reviews, supplier check-ins, and manufacturing status reviews. 
  • Escalate project risks early with clear ownership, recommended actions, due dates, and recovery paths. 
  • Facilitate TPM governance, operating rhythms, cross-functional coordination meetings, accountability tracking, and follow-up discipline. 
  • Monitor KPIs including forecast accuracy, cost variance, schedule adherence, mitigation closure, material delivery, supplier performance, manufacturing throughput, logistics readiness, safety trends, and project health. 
  • Convert project data into executive-ready insights, decision briefs, and recommendations. 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience in project controls, project management, program management, construction delivery, supply chain, operational governance, or large-scale infrastructure delivery. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, data center, mission-critical, industrial, or manufacturing programs. 
  • Strong understanding of integrated schedules, cost tracking, risk management, forecasting, milestone reporting, and executive reporting. 
  • Demonstrated ability to connect project data with actual field conditions and translate findings into action plans. 
  • Experience coordinating supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and material readiness with project execution needs. 
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability without directly owning field execution. 
  • Experience preparing dashboards, action trackers, risk reports, recovery plans, and executive updates. 
  • Willingness to travel regularly to project sites, suppliers, and manufacturing partners. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field. 
  • Experience in hyperscale data center delivery or mission-critical construction. 
  • Experience with Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud, MS Project, Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet, or similar tools. 
  • Background in TPM, project controls, supply chain integration, industrialized construction, or manufacturing readiness. 
  • Experience with prefab, modular construction, OSA, manufacturing coordination, supplier readiness, or logistics planning. 
  • Strong executive reporting and dashboard development experience, including KPI creation, variance narratives, and trend analysis. 
  • Experience improving forecast accuracy, schedule predictability, supplier readiness, logistics performance, mitigation closure, and safety visibility. 
  • Certifications: PMP, PgMP, PMI-SP, CCP, PSP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification preferred.
