Job description

Openwork is currently assisting a leading service provider in their search for a Rebuilder for North Austin. In this role, you will be responsible for refurbishing commercial dish machines and related equipment in a warehouse environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical experience who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting, and working with tools in a stable, growth-oriented environment.
As a Rebuilder, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Refurbishing commercial dishwashers and equipment to company standards.
  • Disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling machine components.
  • Using power and hand tools safely and effectively throughout the rebuilding process.
  • Inspecting equipment and identifying worn or damaged parts for replacement.
  • Testing refurbished equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assisting with warehouse operations and equipment movement as needed.
  • Following safety procedures and company operating standards.
  • Supporting team members and additional branch operations when required.

What you’ll need:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in assembly, warehouse, general labor, manufacturing, OR technician roles required.
  • MUST be comfortable working with power and hand tools daily.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Schedule & Pay:
  • Monday–Friday.
  • 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
  • $18.00 per hour.
  • Full-time position.
  • Direct Hire Opportunity.
