As we continue being 'Here for you', we're looking for a Junior Product Developer Baby Diapers to join our team.

Translating consumer needs in product solutions, thinking out of the box, contributing to new innovations as of second one - as Junior Product Developer Baby (m/f/d), you support our Global-Team in exactly those challenges and you contribute with your drive, your skills, and your ideas to the Ontex mission and vision.

Your Tasks:

Execution of (sub-)projects for the development of baby care product innovations. These mainly involve new product platforms and features for baby diapers with market potential across all Ontex divisions.
 Coordination and supervision of trial runs, laboratory tests, and panel tests.
 Documentation and preparation of test results and project progress.
 Intensive communication with internal stakeholders, such as the in-house mechanical engineering department, Procurement, Sales, Controlling, Quality, Finance, and the Ontex production sites, as well as with external suppliers, customers, and service providers.
 Independent creation and delivery of project presentations and product trainings for internal committees.
 Active contribution to the development of ideas for new products (concepts, features, materials, services).
 Collaboration with the IP team, both for the analysis of competitor patents and for the creation of new Ontex patents.

Your profile
 Completed scientific degree (natural sciences or engineering); a PhD is desirable.
 Broad scientific and technical understanding with analytical and results-oriented mindset.
 Good knowledge of statistics.
 Excellent English skills (spoken and written). German is an asset.
 Interest in patent work.
 Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office.
 Ideally first professional experience in product development
 Independent, team-oriented, and structured working style.
 Strong communication skills, enjoyment of networking, and confident presentation abilities.
 Willingness to travel regularly.
