Job description

Position Overview
A Commercial Lubes Driver is responsible for delivering loads of petroleum products to customer locations in a safe, efficient manner, and within a specified window of time, at the direction of dispatch. These deliveries may take place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year, in nearly any kind of weather.
This position has a competitive compensation package including a Quarterly Driver Safety Bonus Program up to $1,500.00.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safe, error free loading and unloading fuel tanker.
  • Deliver bulk quantities to tanks at both retail and commercial sites.
  • Perform duties in accordance with local, state, federal regulations along with DDC procedures and requirements.
  • Daily pre/post trip inspections; reporting any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.

Requirements
Required/Preferred Education & Experience
  • Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsement.
  • 2-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience (tanker preferred but not required).
  • Needs to have a valid driver's license for the state you will be operating in
  • No DUI/DWI's.
  • A clean driving records. (MVR Report and PSP report to be ran when application completed)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen and Homeland Security background check.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Must have current medical card.

Working Environment and Physical Demands
This position requires the ability to routinely:
  • Lift, push & pull up to 75lbs. repeatedly throughout the course of the shift.
  • Walk, squat, stoop, kneel and bend repeatedly at each delivery location.
  • Enter and exit truck cab multiple times throughout the day.
  • Climb on top of and inspect trailer.
  • Pass a DOT physical and maintain FMCSA drug and alcohol standards.
