Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Seasonal Shipping Verification Clerk for a full-time, 3-month contract. You will ensure order accuracy by counting outbound boxes and applying correct shipping labels. This fast-paced role is critical to meeting our peak season demands and ensuring customers receive the correct shipments.


Compensation, Benefits & Schedule

  • Rate of pay: $19.00 per hour
  • Pay frequency: Weekly pay
  • Position type: Full-time, Seasonal
  • Duration: 3 months (Fixed-term)
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Overtime: Opportunities available during peak weeks


Key Responsibilities

  • Count boxes against order packing slips.
  • Verify quantities match the system data exactly.
  • Apply shipping labels securely to box surfaces.
  • Inspect packages for damage before final transit.
  • Report discrepancies in box counts to supervisors.
  • Scan barcodes to update tracking status systems.
  • Meet daily targets for labeling and counting volume.
  • Maintain neatness in the final staging area.


Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent general education.
  • Strong counting skills with high attention to detail.
  • Basic computer literacy for printing barcode labels.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long shifts.
  • Lifting ability up to 40 pounds regularly.
  • Reliable attendance to complete the 3-month term.
  • Speed and accuracy in fast-paced warehouse settings.
