    Job description


    NR Consulting is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for a well known Engineering firm in the Rio Grande Valley to oversee the full life cycle of high-impact government-funded construction projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in federal compliance, cost management, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
    Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:
    • Lead planning, execution, and closeout of multiple federal/state construction projects
    • Coordinate internal staff, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain timeline and budget
    • Prepare and update project schedules, cost reports, RFIs, and compliance documentation
    • Manage subcontractor contracts, change orders, and performance tracking
    • Ensure full compliance with government regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards
    • Conduct site visits, pre-construction meetings, and progress reviews with all stakeholders
    • Oversee project closeout including punch lists, O\&M manuals, as-built documentation, and warranty fulfillment
    Construction Project Manager Job Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of direct experience managing Federal/State construction projects
    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture or equivalent work experience
    • Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar CPM scheduling tools
    • Ability to create and manage cost-loaded schedules
    • Experience handling RFIs, submittals, change orders, and HUB Subcontracting Plans
    • Strong knowledge of OSHA and federal building regulations
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
    • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
    • Ability to travel to job sites and conduct on-site inspections
