Job description
Light Show Attendant is responsible for assisting with the operation of a seasonal light show during evening hours and often outside.
Pay Rate: $ 14.75 per hour
Major Duties/Specific Tasks
- Assists with show operations by collecting fees, operating cash registers, issuing receipts, selling merchandise, and maintaining stock of supplies.
- Assists with customer service by greeting park visitors, handling inquiries, providing information and assistance, and informing patrons of rules and regulations.
- Attends and participates in staff trainings.
- Reports unsafe conditions to Manager on Duty.
- Carries out additional duties as assigned by the Park Management or Supervisor on Duty.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be age 16 or over.
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the public.
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash accurately.
- Ability to learn the operation of the show and to obtain a working knowledge of NOVA Parks.
- Strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to perform a variety of duties including custodial tasks.
- Availability to work a variable work schedule, which includes evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
