We are expanding and actively seeking skilled and dedicated Automotive Technicians. GM experience gets you to the front of the line and strong diagnostic skills in any domestic/import line gets you a seat at the table. The ideal candidate will take pride in their workmanship with a strong passion for fixing it right the first time, and the mind set to always provide exceptional service to our customers. Here is why you should consider North Star Chevrolet West Liberty Ave

  • Top wages paid for experienced Technicians
  •  No Saturday or evening hours
  • We actually pay you .3hrs for Multi-Point inspections and .2hrs for Video's .That's .5 hours on every vehicle
  • We pay a 3% year end bonus $$$$$
  • We offer a Tiered Flat Rate Bonus. 45 to 49.9 = $1.00 extra per hour retro back to the first hour, 50 to 54.9 = $2.00, 55 to 59.9 = $3.00 and 60 hours and up additional $4.00 per hour.
  • We also offer additional $2.00 per hour on internal engine work and electrical diagnostic and repairs, additional $3.00 per hour for transmission repairs and diesel repairs
  • For GM Technicians, we are part of the GM Technician Excellence Program which means an extra $2,000 to $6,000 per year.
  • Paid, on-going GM Training
  • Clean, well-lit shop with the latest diagnostic software, well-maintained shop equipment.
  • Solid Service Advisors that work hard to sell services you're recommending   
  • Parts department dedicated to minimizing your down time

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle issues accurately and efficiently
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
  • Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and timely completion of jobs
  • Must have PA State and Emissions License
  • Must have valid PA Drivers License
