Norstella Jobs Information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Consultant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Consultant, you need strong analytical skills, industry-specific expertise, and a relevant degree such as business, finance, or engineering. Familiarity with data analysis tools, project management software, and certifications like PMP or Six Sigma is often expected. Exceptional communication, problem-solving abilities, and relationship-building skills help consultants stand out. These skills are crucial for delivering actionable insights, managing client expectations, and driving successful project outcomes.

What are some typical challenges faced by consultants when working with new clients, and how can they be navigated?

Consultants often encounter challenges such as quickly understanding a client's unique business environment, managing stakeholder expectations, and adapting to varying corporate cultures. To navigate these, successful consultants prioritize active listening during initial meetings, conduct thorough research, and establish clear communication channels. Building trust through transparency and delivering early wins can also help foster strong client relationships and smooth project progress.

What is consulting?

Consulting is a professional service where experts offer advice and solutions to organizations or individuals to help them solve problems, improve performance, or achieve specific goals. Consultants may work independently or as part of a firm, providing expertise in areas such as management, finance, technology, human resources, or strategy. Their role often involves analyzing a client's current situation, identifying challenges or opportunities, and recommending actionable steps for improvement. Consulting projects can range from short-term problem-solving to long-term strategic planning.

What exactly is a consulting job?

A consulting job involves providing expert advice and solutions to organizations to help improve their performance, solve problems, or implement changes. Consultants often analyze business processes, develop strategies, and may use tools like data analysis or project management skills. The role typically requires strong communication, industry knowledge, and problem-solving abilities.

What jobs make $3,000 a month without a degree?

In consulting or related fields, roles such as freelance consultants, sales representatives, or project coordinators can earn around $3,000 monthly without a degree, especially with relevant experience, strong communication skills, and industry knowledge. Many of these jobs rely on skills, certifications, or on-the-job training rather than formal education and may involve flexible schedules or remote work.

    Job description

    RWD Engagement Manager

    Company: Norstella

    Location: Remote, United States

    Date Posted: May 20, 2026

    Employment Type: Full Time

    Job ID: R-1751

    Description

Why Norstella? Norstella unites market-leading companies that all have a shared goal of improving patient access. Each organization (Citeline, Evaluate, MMIT, Panalgo, and The Dedham Group) delivers must-have answers for critical strategic and commercial decision-making.

    Together, we help our clients:

    • Assess the market need and competitive landscape
    • Know precisely which drugs to prioritize in their portfolio
    • Find out where the launch difficulties will be-before they're difficulties
    • Track and improve market access post-launch

By combining the efforts of each organization under Norstella, we can offer an even wider breadth of expertise, cutting-edge data solutions and expert advisory services alongside advanced technologies such as real-world data, machine learning and predictive analytics. At Norstella, we don't just deliver information and insights. We deliver answers you can act on.

    About The Role:

As a Norstella RWD Engagement Manager, you will own the end-to-end success of client engagements, ensuring reliable delivery, operational efficiency, and strong client outcomes across Norstella's Real-World Data solutions. This role is centered on technical RWD knowledge, execution excellence, client relationship management, and cross-functional coordination, rather than traditional consulting or advisory work.

You will act as the primary client success owner for assigned engagements-overseeing timelines, deliverables, communications, and internal alignment to ensure clients realize sustained value from Norstella's RWD offerings. You will work closely with delivery, data, product, and client support teams to translate client objectives into executable plans, manage day-to-day operations, and drive consistent, high-quality outcomes.

This role is well-suited for a leader who thrives at the intersection of client partnership, operational rigor, RWD knowledge (Open Claims, Closed Claims, EMR data), and team coordination, and who is motivated by improving processes, scaling delivery, and enabling long-term client satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities - Client Success & Relationship Management

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned RWD clients.
    • Establish clear success criteria, delivery plans, and communication cadences.
    • Proactively manage expectations, risks, and dependencies.
    • Lead end-of-engagement reviews and hand-offs to Client Support.
    • Partner with renewal teams to support expansion and growth.

Key Responsibilities - Operational Execution & Delivery Excellence

    • Own execution oversight for RWD engagements.
    • Coordinate across internal delivery, data, product, and support teams.
    • Ensure adherence to engagement management standards and documentation.
    • Maintain project tracking and reporting.
    • Identify and drive process and workflow improvements.

Key Responsibilities - Team Leadership & Collaboration

    • Guide and coordinate team members across workstreams.
    • Support mentorship and development of junior staff.
    • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration.
    • All other duties, as assigned.

    Required Experience

    • Master's degree in life sciences, data science, biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, health economics, or related field
    • 6-8 years of experience with hands-on RWD Analytics.
    • 1-2 years and leading RWD engagements.
    • 1-2 years of experience in coding with SQL
    • Domain knowledge in working with commercial, market access, HEOR and epi clients
    • Experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements with life sciences.
    • Significant experience working with Real-World Data (Open Claims, Closed Claims, EMR data) and supporting life sciences delivery models.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Please Note - All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship or transfers. We are not currently accepting candidates who are on an OPT visa.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $185,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
