Job description

Registered Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)

Are you a high-energy, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist looking to join a collaborative and supportive dental team? We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and is committed to delivering the highest level of patient care.
Our practice provides a wide range of services including general dentistry, implants, and oral surgery, and we pride ourselves on creating a positive and respectful environment for both patients and team members.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and preventive care, including scaling and root planing (SRP)
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
Take and review digital X-rays using Nomad handheld technology
Accurately chart conditions and treatment plans in Patterson Eaglesoft or equivalent software
Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain proper sterilization and infection control protocols
Create a welcoming, calm experience for each patient
Assist with implant and oral surgery cases as needed

Salary Range

Part-time $60 - $65 per hour

Compensation: $60–$65/hour (based on experience)

Shift & Schedule

Schedule: Monday–Thursday
Flexibility of the shift can be discussed during interview

Requirements
  • Licensed dental hygienist
  • X-ray / Radiography Certification

Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
Proficient with Nomad X-ray systems and digital charting

Preferences
  • Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)

At least 1 year of experience preferred, but open to confident and motivated new grads
Knowledge of or experience with implant care and coronal polishing
Strong communication and patient education skills
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Team-oriented, detail-driven, and adaptable
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
