DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead efforts to identify client needs and connect clients with appropriate community resources and agencies.
  • Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and aftercare services.
  • Connect clients with housing options, educational opportunities, and other community resources.
  • Coordinate escorts and issue client passes as appropriate.
  • Support clients with continuing education opportunities, including GED programs.
  • Assist with assessments, groups, didactics, individual services, and other clinical activities as needed.
  • Support the intake process and other clinical responsibilities as assigned.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS–EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Service field or higher
  • CADC or a CADC McBAP Development Plan (Preferred)
  • Must display a willingness to perform a variety of clinical and office tasks when needed
  • Must have good organizational skills and able to handle large volumes of work and various tasks simultaneously
  • Must be organized and work well under pressure
  • Must be proficient in various computer applications, i.e., Zoom, Team Meetings, Google Meet, NextStep (will train), Microsoft Office products, etc.
  • A valid driver’s license is required
  • Gambling Training recommended
  • Must be able to pass MDOC LEIN check
