    The NEEDS Center is a local non-profit organization that provides services to adults with developmental disabilities and we are now hiring 2 House Managers for our Orange Park residential homes!

    • Pay is up to $21.00/hr (based on experience)
    • This is a Full-Time position and it is eligible for overtime.
    • Schedule is 2nd shift and includes a weekend day

    In this position you will assist and support adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible while enjoying all aspects of Community Living.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Serving as a role model for staff in all areas of client programming, client services and professional practice.
    • Supervising Assistant Program Coordinator and Program Specialist staff.
    • Overseeing the day-to-day operation of a residential program.
    • Schedule includes afternoons and weekend shifts.
    • This position will include being on ratio at least 2 days per week and assisting with the hands-on, direct care support of the adults in our care. This includes personal care, grooming, preparing meals, bathing help, etc.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
    • At least 2 years of supervisory experience working in residential environment.
    • Good supervisory and communication (verbal and written) skills.
    • MED ADMINISTRATION strongly preferred.

There is a particular emphasis on providing services to individuals with interfering challenging behavior and/or dual diagnosis. The NEEDS Centers philosophy is rooted in the tenets of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Positive Behavior Support (PSB). The services and supports provided by the NEEDS Center draw on the best of both disciplines to assist individuals to become as independent as they can be.
