Myerstown Nursing and Rehab is seeking a personable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform a variety of resident care activities and services necessary to support the personal needs and comfort of our nursing home residents in Myerstown, PA.

Shifts Available: Full Time, Part Time, and PRN

Pay:$21.03–$24.03 per hour

EXCELLENT weekend shift differential ($5/hr for ALL shifts)

Pay-in-Lieu Program Available: Employees who elect to waive benefits may qualify for a higher hourly rate through our Pay-in-Lieu of Benefits program.

CNA Job Duties / Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with therapeutic, neuro, dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care needs (if applicable)• Provide nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensure resident safety and well-being• Act under the direction of the Charge Nurse and as an active member of the interdisciplinary team• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per the established Care Plan• Ensure residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan• Interact with residents, families, co-workers, and clinical staff in a respectful, supportive, and professional manner• Complete additional duties as assigned in accordance with the Care Plan

CNA Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification required (completion of a state-approved training program and exam)• Must provide proof of certification upon application
