MSA is seeking a Senior Project Architect to join our dynamic team of creative professionals in our St. Paul MN office. This role offers the opportunity to lead exciting architectural projects from concept through completion while mentoring emerging talent and fostering a collaborative, supportive environment. Responsibilities
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Lead the design and development of architectural projects across a wide range of building types, ensuring design excellence and technical accuracy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, planners, and designers to deliver integrated and innovative solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to junior architects and design staff, supporting their professional growth and development.
  • Manage client relationships, project schedules, budgets, and team resources.
  • Oversee construction documentation, regulatory approvals, and construction administration.
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement within the studio.

Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch. or M.Arch).
  • Licensed Architect with 10+ years of experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design leadership and technical expertise on diverse building types.
  • Proven experience mentoring and leading design teams.
  • Proficient in Revit and other industry-standard design and documentation tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future. We are unable to provide or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role.

The salary for this position ranges from $97,800 to $141,750 per year commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
