As a counselor, you will leverage your expertise to conduct assessments, develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, and maintain thorough clinical records for our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and link families to appropriate community-based services to address psychosocial issues effectively.
  • Provide effective counseling services while working in a crisis-driven environment, demonstrating a solid understanding of various issues including substance abuse, domestic violence, trauma, and mental health conditions.
  • Deliver educational support to team members regarding clients’ psychosocial stressors, formulating strategies to enhance treatment outcomes for families.
  • Document comprehensive patient histories, physical assessment results, clinical diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up outcomes using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role is pivotal in supporting individuals and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges. We serve a diverse population, and your interventions will directly influence the improvement of their mental well-being. Clients may include those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological concerns, requiring sensitivity and tailored approaches to foster meaningful recovery journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required for this position.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of California.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with a diverse clientele are essential qualities for success in this role.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of direct counseling experience, particularly with a focus on providing telehealth services.
  • Experience engaging with underserved populations and utilizing culturally competent practices in treatment.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to streamline clinical processes.
Compensation and Benefits
