    Job description

Signs are everywhere — hospitals, apartment buildings, offices, churches — and most people never give them a second thought. We're a small, DFW-based business that designs, fabricates, and installs interior signage for clients locally and nationwide.

The position we are looking to fill is an Assistant Project Manager, which is an in-office role. Your average day will typically be spent half at your desk doing computer work and half on your feet, in the shop, inspecting and packing finished products. If you’re looking for a role where all of your work happens behind a screen, this likely isn’t the position for you. If you like knowing exactly how something is made and enjoy a variety in your day, you’ll thrive here.

You'll start by managing small-to-medium projects under the Director of Project Management, learning our processes, clients, and materials. As you get comfortable, you'll take on larger, more complex work. No prior sign industry experience required — but comfort around a production environment, some construction knowledge, and a willingness to get your hands involved in the work will set you up for success.

Day to Day activities could include but aren’t limited too:
Customer communication and coordination via phone and email
Keeping project statuses updated on our Monday.com PM Board
Coordinating artwork with our Design team
Reviewing completed projects in the shop and packing for install or shipping.
    Submitting Permit Information
    Researching Building Requirements or Materials
Perform Site Surveys and walks with Clients
    Must Haves:
Great Personality with a helpful, supportive, can do attitude
Extensive Customer Service Experience (Retail or Commercial is acceptable)
    High Work Ethic
    Fast Learner
    Good to Haves:
    Proficient in Quickbooks
    Good with Computers (Mac)

Qualified candidates will be interviewed and will need to pass a drug test and background check before being considered for the position. The successful candidate will get a competitive salary (35,000-50,000 per year) and 64 hours of paid time off. After 90 days, you can enroll in the 401(k) program, and most important of all you will get to work with a great group of people.
