Carolina Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Morehead City. This PRN position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.
Position Summary:
The Occupational Therapist provides skilled occupational therapy services to individuals requiring restoration of physical and/or mental functioning. This role focuses on promoting independence in self-care and daily living activities while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The OT may also provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and therapy aides as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Assist patients in improving functional abilities and daily life skills
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards
  • Provide guidance and supervision to COTAs and therapy aides when applicable

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current state licensure in North Carolina (or eligible to obtain)
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Strong clinical and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
