Job Summary Join our team as a Restaurant Busser at the scenic Morada Bay Beach Cafe. In this role, you'll be essential in maintaining the restaurant's ambiance and efficiency, ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, welcoming environment.
Job Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Warmly greet guests, enhancing their initial impression of the restaurant.
- Clear tables efficiently, removing tableware, napkins, and refuse, and wiping down tables and chairs.
- Ensure tables are reset quickly and to the highest standards, ready for new guests.
- Manage bus stations, ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and orderly.
- Distribute cleaned dishes, glassware, and utensils to service stations.
- Polish glassware and silverware, and inspect for cleanliness and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness in the restaurant, including floors and service areas.
- Retrieve and fold linens, maintaining appropriate stock levels at service stations.
- Adhere to Board of Health standards for cleanliness.
- Participate in team briefings, presenting a professional appearance.
- Uphold a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Respond positively to guest inquiries and assist in resolving any issues.
Training
- Complete training on safe lifting procedures, bloodborne pathogens, food safety, and slip/trip/fall prevention in food prep and service areas.
Requirements
- No specific educational requirements; training will be provided.
- A friendly, positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Professional demeanor and commitment to high-quality guest service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
