Job description

MongoDB is growing quickly and seeking a talented Senior Contract Recruiter to join our team, focusing on expanding our global FinOps, People, and Legal teams. Because we remain a hands-on environment, this role requires you to be a proven day-to-day tactical recruiter who can also provide valuable strategic guidance in developing our overall recruiting strategy.
This role can be based remotely within the United States, with a strong preference for the Eastern timezone. This is a 6 month fixed term contract with an hourly rate of $65/hr.
In this role, you will
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, partnering with them on everything from setting data-driven recruiting strategies and expectations up front, managing and driving efficient processes, and closing candidates
  • Develop sourcing strategies to generate high quality pipelines, using a variety of innovative techniques from direct sourcing to social networking
  • Engage with candidates throughout the entire process, from sourcing through to offer negotiations
  • Leverage Greenhouse, Gem, and Tableau to track candidate pipeline progress and maintain consistently clean data for reporting
  • Establish strong relationships with hiring teams, focusing on becoming a strategic talent partner rather than an "order taker"
  • Deliver a consistently high-touch candidate experience, ensuring timely communication, clear expectations, and thoughtful preparation at each stage
The right person for this role will
  • Have 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within high growth, fast paced technology companies
  • Have a proven ability to manage multiple searches and stakeholders simultaneously, with strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Be a strong communicator and relationship-builder, able to influence and partner with hiring managers, candidates, and talent ecosystem partners
  • Be comfortable using tools such as Google Workspace, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and Greenhouse ATS (preferred) to track candidates, run reports, and keep hiring teams aligned
  • Flex to wear many hats and contribute to hiring needs in various locations, time zones, and business units

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB's total compensation and benefits package.
