Job description


Responsibilities
• The Senior Cloud Architect will design a complete and complex framework, system or product
• Defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility
• Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes
• Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses
• Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems
• Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives
• Ability to disseminate leadership directions/decisions and coordinate across cross-functional teams
Requirements
  • Good Google Cloud platform services knowledge
    • Identity
    • Networking
    • Compute
    • Storage
    • Serverless
    • Logging
    • Messaging
  • Google Cloud security services
    • Security Command Center (Event threat detection)
    • Workload security
    • Network (Firewalls, VPC Service Controls, Cloud Armor,etc.)
    • Data (DLP, Cloud KMS design patterns)
    • IAM
    • Monitoring and Operations (integration with Splunk)
  • Cloud Security Posture management and workloadprotection - Hashicorp Sentinel/Prisma/GCP SCC/Organisational constraints
    • Implementing controls and guardrails with the above
  • Threat modelling processes and frameworks and controlsimplementation based on MITRE ATT&CK
  • Familiarity with Cloud security controls frameworks -CSA CCM, CIS
  • Ability to document and present to peer-reviewforums/design authority
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in highly regulated enterpriseenvironments preferred
