Must be able to work on and diagnose machinery effectively. Must be familiar with machinery parts, such as gauges, valves, pressure regulators, lathe, grinder, dill, and milling machine. SKILLS REQUIRED Employees at MNP are highly valued and treated with respect. Successful candidates for Machine Industrial Technician positions within MNP will possess the following skills, behaviors, and aptitude:Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technicianIn-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulationsExcellent trouble shooting skills Basic computer and report writing skills, good math skillsGood communication skillsAccountable; able to work without constant supervision.Learner – able to take instruction.Helper – able to give instruction; willing to help others. PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE POSITION The work environment for this position is noisy, oily, fast paced and physically demanding. It involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks with exposure to oily conditions and dust, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, safety glasses, and appropriate footwear.
