Job description

Now Hiring: Body Shop Estimator
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Body Shop Estimator to join our growing collision center. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, insurance companies, and technicians to deliver high-quality repairs and an excellent customer experience.
What You'll Do
  • Inspect vehicles and write accurate collision repair estimates
  • Work with insurance companies on approvals and supplements
  • Communicate repair timelines and updates to customers
  • Coordinate repairs with technicians and the parts department
  • Ensure repairs meet OEM and dealership quality standards
What We're Looking For
  • Prior experience as a body shop or collision estimator preferred
  • Knowledge of estimating software (CCC, Mitchell, or Audatex)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple repairs in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities
  • Determine and repair damaged parts
  • Communicate status of repairs clearly to body shop manager
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
  • Document all repairs performed
  • Document all materials used
  • Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
  • Follow all company safety procedures
  • Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a dealership is a plus
  • ASE Certification is a plus
  • I-CAR Certification is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Past dealership experience required
  • Past collision center experience is required as well
  • Completion of vocational program preferred, but not required
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Clean driving record & valid driver's license
