Mind and Body Wellness Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and professional Physical Therapist to join our team full-time in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be essential in helping patients recover and enhance their functionality through personalized care, ensuring that each patient achieves their peak level of movement and quality of life.

Our state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet facility is equipped with advanced sports medicine technology, fostering an environment geared towards innovative therapy and rehabilitation approaches.

Work Environment

The work setting is fully onsite at our rehabilitation center, where you will collaborate directly with a team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our supportive and collegial atmosphere emphasizes teamwork, ensuring that each therapist has the resources and collaboration necessary to provide top-tier patient care. The clinic operates in a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, balancing patient care with opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical capabilities, identifying specific goals and needs to guide treatment planning.
• Manage a defined caseload, seeing one patient per hour to provide focused attention and tailored interventions.
• Design and implement comprehensive individualized care plans that incorporate various treatment modalities, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Deliver evidence-based treatments aimed at improving patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall independence.
• Proactively motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, helping them embrace healthier lifestyles and rectify movement impairments.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, addressing all aspects of well-being and recovery.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress using the WebPT EMR software, ensuring accurate communication and continuity of care.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes to adapt protocols as needed, fostering patient success while minimizing dependence on medications and invasive procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Mind and Body Wellness, we cater predominantly to individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring a broad access to specialized orthopedic rehabilitation services. Our patient population includes athletes, post-surgical rehabilitation cases, and individuals recovering from various orthopedic conditions. Your role will be pivotal in addressing their unique challenges, leveraging your expertise to guide them towards optimal function.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Maryland.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary action against your licensure.
• Strong manual therapy skills and the ability to design exercise protocols that meet diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency in using WebPT EMR Software to document and track patient care effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working within orthopedic outpatient settings, with a demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans and outcomes.
• Expertise in evidence-based practice and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
