    WORK SHIFT

    SUMMARY OF DUTIES

    Performs the following job functions: medical device assembly which includes sealing, picking orders, and boxing product as a production team member.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

    1. Operates a variety of testing equipment required for product and process testing.
    2. Reviews routers to determine optimal line balance.
    3. Operates and understand the consolidation process.
    4. Operates a sealer.
    5. Ensures supplies are stocked and readily available.
    6. Adjusts processes within validated ranges to achieve targeted results.
    7. Assembles medical products on an assembly operation, performing a variety of tasks on a rotating basis.
    8. Performs on-line and in-process visual inspection of products to ensure specifications per work order and procedure are followed.
    9. Ensures product assembled meets quality standards.
    10. Rejects product outside of specifications.
    11. Picks and verifies orders for accuracy.
    12. Prepares shipments including labels.
    13. Performs the basic boxing procedures.
    14. Adheres to safety standards.
    15. Working overtime may be required for this position.
    16. Performs other tasks, as required.

    SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education equivalent to a high school diploma and six months of relevant work experience.
    Demonstrates competencies and ability to rotate in a specific assembly lines.
    Ability to meet line rate expectations.
    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in checking information.
    Ability to recognize, identify and distinguish between different medical products by their appearance.
    Ability to perform a variety of tasks requiring dexterity and fine motor skills.
    Knowledge of basic math and the ability to apply it in work situations.
    Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in performing repetitive tasks.
    Ability to work as a team member.
    Ability to visually check work performed and identify whether a product has been assembled correctly.
    Dependability in coming to work on time and meeting company attendance guidelines.
    Must be able to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
    Ability to operate testing equipment.
    Must be sealer certified.
    Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
    Must achieve certification in Production, Boxing, Warehouse and Sealing within 90 days of time in position.
